Presently we are looking for front desk volunteers each day from 8:30-10am and/or 5 to 6:30pm. Our preference would be for a person to volunteer regularly for a shift, for example every Saturday from 5-6:30pm or every Monday from 8:30-10am.

Caressa Hearp
Case Manager
Hope Center is pleased to announce the hire of our new Interim Program Manager. Caressa Hearp is a graduate of the Human Services Program at SRJC and a certified drug and alcohol counselor. She served as the lead Case Manager for Women’s Recovery Services in Santa Rosa for several years before moving to Lake County in 2020 to live closer to her family in Clearlake. Since then she has served as the Case Manager at Hope Center. A popular speaker on the power of second chances, she grew up surrounded by addiction, the wreckage it causes, but also recovery. She has experienced homelessness and is now a Lake County homeowner. She has turned her pain into purpose and lived experience into lived expertise. She is passionate about helping people overcome barriers to living their best life and we are delighted to announce her new role.
TIM WRIGHT
Peer Navigator
Tim Wright is the Peer Advisor at Hope Center. Presently enrolled at Woodland College he is pursuing a degree in Human Services. Born and raised in Kelseyville his long term goal is to a be a full time counselor in a Recovery Program. His lived experience of homelessness has taught him compassion and provides a unique perspective to offer support for our participants. He enjoys helping people feel safe by providing a warm place to sleep and a good meal. Being a member of the Celebrate Recovery community has inspired Tim in his journey and his commitment to serve others.
Samantha Stepp
Night Staff
Samantha Stepp is full-time night staff at Hope Center. She was born and raised in Lake County her entire life. However, considers Kelseyville her home. Despite the adversities of growing up in the foster care system, she rose above, and still managed to graduate from Kelseyville High School in 2016. She is currently finishing up her associate degree in English at Mendocino College. During her free time, she loves to read, hike, and especially loves creative writing. Helping to be a part of the solution to end homelessness and the atmosphere of change is gratifying.
Haylie Howard
Substitute Staff
My name is Haylie Howard, I was born in Santa Rosa ca and moved to clear lake in middle school. I graduated from Lower lake highschool in 2020 the mists of the pandemic. I aspire to sell houses all throughout the world and own many different properties. I enjoy the work done at the hope center and am grateful I get to be a part of the change in the community that I grew up in. I love all animals but especially dogs. I have 5 dogs of all different breeds and a parrot named peanut. I enjoy surrounding myself with positive people and love being in the hope center.
Christine Richter
Site Manager
Hope Center is pleased to announce the hire of our new Site Manager Christine Richter. A Lake County resident since 1979 Chrissy grew up on Cobb Mountain appreciating the beauty of our community and later the privilege of raising her own children in such a place. She attended both Mendo and Yuba Colleges. Chrissy has been an active leader in Relay for Life and supporting the solution to cure cancer. After the 2017 Sulphur Fire she also became active in post disaster recovery work which gave her a great foundation for the work she now facilitates at Hope Center where our neighbors are daily moving from experiencing homelessness to hope and housing.
