People.Power.Change! Free Virtual Advocacy Trainings for Lake County Community Members
Through collaboration with the CA4Health we will be offering five free virtual workshops focused on advocacy.
Ca4Health is an inclusive statewide community of practice consisting of people and organizations working to advance chronic disease prevention and health equity in California. They believe that increased collaboration, fostering non-traditional partnerships, and tackling tough challenges together will create impactful, lasting change in California.
PPC is a series of (virtual) workshops focused on advocacy and capacity building for policy change. We want to hear from our community and what matters to them. Through these workshops we will be teaching the basic 7 elements of advocacy and how to effectively advocate for issues our community members are passionate about. We understand that speaking up can often be challenging, please share this registration/survey with coworkers, friends and other connections you may have to help give them an opportunity for their voice to be hears. There will be a cap on the number of individuals able to attend these trainings so please register as soon as possible.
All workshops will be done through ZOOM online, no prior knowledge of this program is needed and a FREE tutorial of the program will be provided prior to the workshops. The survey should take less than 3 minutes to complete.
